Welcome to Football Playoff Pool 2026

The object is to score the most points over the four weeks of playoff games.

Each week you must submit a lineup containing 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 PK, and 1 Defense/Special Team. You may not use a player/team more than once during the playoffs. This rule is what makes this pool unique and makes for a variety of strategies regarding when to use key players. Lineups must be submitted five minutes prior to the first game for that week. No exceptions.

Cost is a measly $25, so sign up / log in and enjoy some cheap entertainment.

To add to the strategy of this contest, each weekly high scorer will win $150. So, if you have a bad week, do you sacrifice the big money and load up your players the following week to try and win the weekly prize? To be eligible for a weekly prize you must submit a valid lineup each week.

For 2026 there are increased payouts for places 16-25!
The top 4 teams will receive payouts of 50% for 1st place, 25% for 2nd place, 15% for 3rd place, and 10% for 4th place after payment of $500 for 5th place, $250 for 6th-10th place, $150 for 11th-15th place, $100 for 16th-25th place, $150 for the weekly winners and nominal costs to cover site maintenance.

Scoring

Touchdown of any variety - pass, rush, receiving, defensive or special team return = 6 points
2pt conversion of any variety - pass, rush, receiving, defensive or special team return = 2 points
0.04 point for every yard passing
-2 point for every interception thrown
0.1 point for every yard rushing
0.1 point for every yard receiving
0.5 points per reception
1 point for an extra point
3 points for every field goal regardless of length
-1 point for every FG or XP missed
2 points for any safety
2 points for any interception and fumble recovery by the defense
1 point for each sack
0 points allowed by the defense/ST = 10 points
1-5 points allowed by the defense/ST = 7 points
6-10 points allowed by the defense/ST = 4 points
11-14 points allowed by the defense/ST = 3 points
15-20 points allowed by the defense/ST = 2 points
21-25 points allowed by the defense/ST = 1 point
31-35 points allowed by the defense/ST = -1 point
36-40 points allowed by the defense/ST = -2 points
41-45 points allowed by the defense/ST = -4 points
46-99 points allowed by the defense/ST = -6 points
